This full house renovation transformed an unmodernised three-bedroom property into a modern, five-bedroom family home, thoughtfully designed for a young family new to the area.

The project began with a complete back-to-brick renovation, including a full replumb, rewire, and new wood flooring throughout. We designed and secured planning for a generous 4-metre ground floor extension, creating a light, open-plan kitchen, dining, and living space, ideal for family life.
Practical additions included a ground floor WC and a dedicated utility room, improving the day-to-day functionality of the home.
To maximise space, we added a dormer loft extension, providing two further bedrooms and an additional bathroom. Seamlessly integrating modern living requirements while respecting the character of the property.
A key part of the brief was restoring period charm. We reinstated heritage features such as Victorian coving, ceiling roses, and traditional cornices, alongside fully restoring the original fireplace, previously hidden behind a 1970s gas fire — returning warmth and character to the space.
The result is a beautifully balanced family home, blending period detailing with contemporary finishes, crafted to suit modern life.

In the WC, statement wallpaper, deep green tiling, and classic sanitaryware create a striking balance between playful character and heritage charm. The choice of rich tones, paired with traditional high-level cistern details, elevates what is often an overlooked space, proving even the smallest rooms deserve personality.
In the kitchen, a sculptural chandelier of hand-blown glass spheres makes a bold centrepiece above the island. Paired with bespoke cabinetry, brass accents, and a beautiful textured splashback, it brings warmth, craftsmanship, and a sense of modern luxury to the heart of the home.
